Guy Fawkes Night

This 3-hour course will cover all of the basics needed for ascending your first outdoor sport climbing route. All equipment is provided in the standard course fee, you are welcome to use your own kit, so long as it passes a quick safety check by your instructor. This session is recommended for anyone new to rope climbing and will go over:

- The proper use and maintenance of climbing equipment outdoors.

- How to safely tie into a harness.

- How to belay a climbing partner. (Solo climbers are always welcome on the sessions)

- How to look out for hazards on the crag.

- Climbing technique
